Jharkhand combined entrance competitive examination. (JCECE) is conducted for selection of candidates for admission to first year of.
* Engineering Stream : Engineering Degree Course in different Govt./Pvt. Engineering Institutes/Colleges situated in Jharkhand State.
* Medical Stream : MBBS & BDS/Homeopathic Course in Govt. and Pvt. Institutes situated in Jharkhand State.
* Agriculture Stream : Degree Course in Agriculture, Veterinary and Forestry in Birsa Agriculture University, Kanke, Ranchi.
The entrance examination is conducted by JCECE Board.
The JCECE is held in two stages - Preliminary and Final Examination. Those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear in the Final examination.
The preliminary exam consists of single paper where four parts (Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology ) will be given as separate in equal weightage with objective type questions

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), Andhra Pradesh is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and Andhra Pradesh every year in May on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
Merit list is prepared by JNTU on the basis of which admissions are given to the candidates in the respective courses of their choice. EAMCET admissions are done into all the prestigious government colleges/institutions of Andhra Pradesh including the private and minority institutions affiliated to the

Besides these aforementioned universities/ institutions, regional colleges are also incorporated for AP quota seats.

University Colleges: 95% of sanctioned intake of seats in each course is allotted to eligible candidates..
Un-Aided Non-Minority Professional Institutions: 80% of sanctioned intake of seats in each course in Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Professional Institutions, are allotted to the eligible candidates.
Un-Aided Minority Professional Institutions: Admissions will be given as per the rules of G.O. Ms.No.54 Higher Education(EC) Department dated: 10-05-2006.
Category B
Un-Aided Non-Minority/Minority Professional Institutions: 20% of the total intake of seats in each course in un-aided Non-Minority and Minority professional Institutions will be allotted to all the eligible candidates including candidates belonging to other States and union territories India and NRIs on merit basis.
