The essential prerequisites of professional courses like MBBS, BE, Btech , Barch are subject knowledge at the 10+2 Level and analytical ability. This requires a selection procedure for students who can complete the demanding professional courses in place. KCET: Karnataka CET is held for admission of students to various professional courses of Karnataka. The Karnataka CET (KCET) examination, since 1984, has been conducted every year by the Government of Karnataka for admission in the Engineering and Medical Colleges of this state. The admission process through the KCET is not only open for medical and engineering courses but several other courses which include Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Yoga, Naturopathy and Architecture.

EAMCET: Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), Andhra Pradesh is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and Andhra Pradesh every year in May on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
Merit list is prepared by JNTU on the basis of which admissions are given to the candidates in the respective courses of their choice. MHT CET: If you are interested to be a part of this Maharastra Technological Studies scenario, then it becomes mandatory on your part to appear for the MHT CET examination.
